Invitation to be a PAGE Member
Dear Malaysian Parent,

We are pleased to inform you that the Parent Action Group for Education Malaysia (PAGE) is now a fully registered national society in Malaysia. After many months of exchanges and overcoming a host of challenges, PAGE’s application to be formalised as a national society has finally been approved by the Malaysian Government.

As you may be aware, PAGE has been in the forefront of the campaign to maintain the option for the teaching of Science and Mathematics in English (PPSMI). The PPSMI concern is just one of the many issues which we take interest in to ensure a better future for our children. More recently, we have also been engaging with the Government on its proposal to abolish the UPSR and PMR public examinations.

We are certain that in the months and years ahead, PAGE will be required to champion the cause of Malaysian parents on many more issues related to the educational system of Malaysia. For all these, we will strive to the fullest to ensure that the voices and opinion of Malaysian parents are heard and considered by the policy makers.

Whilst PAGE will continue in its efforts, it is now the time for us to gather support, increase our numbers and unite under this umbrella for our common cause. As such, we would like to invite you to join as a member of PAGE to help convey the message that concerned parents in Malaysia are too sizeable a number to be ignored.

We sincerely hope that you will take some time off from your busy schedule to download and complete the “PAGE Membership Application Form” attached and return the same to us with a payment of RM 20.00 being Entrance Fee (one time fee) and Annual Subscription (valid until 31 December 2011) at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

Datin Noor Azimah Abd Rahim
Chairman
